Shelf Life Guidelines

The expiration date mentioned on each gel is how long it can be stored before opening the lid seal.

  • Pantry: Sealed gel can be stored at room temperature for up to two years before opening. For best texture, refrigerate before serving.
  • Refrigerator: After opening the lid of the gel, be sure to store it in the refrigerator. The storage time and the best time to use this gel is at most 3-4 weeks after opening the lid.
    Do not store the opened gel outside the refrigerator. Due to the use of completely natural and plant-based ingredients in the production of our products, keeping the opened gel outside the refrigerator can cause bacterial growth and spoilage of the gel.
  • Freezer: If you want to store the opened gel for a longer period of time, immediately transfer it from the glass bottle to a zip-top bag or seal and store in the freezer. The maximum storage time of the gel in the freezer is 5 months.
    Never put the jar containing the gel in the freezer. It is possible to break glass at freezer temperature!
